App Review: Layers

   Layers is your chrome one-stop app to all your social and news feeds. You get all your feeds in one stylized, organized ribbon of wonderment.


   When you enter Layers, you'll be asked to log into your social and RSS feeds. After doing this, you'll end up with a nice ribbon of all your Facebook updates, Twitter updates, and RSS news. Also, going through them is snap. Just click on the channel of your choice (i.e. Facebook), and scroll through everything going in the channel. Want to see a video your FB friend posted? Just click the update to instantly watch it. Want to comment on a twitter post. Just click and comment. Want to read on an RSS update? Just click and read. That's all there is to it.
   This app truly captures the ideal concept of an app, being able to fulfill your internet needs in a simple interface. However, I will add that adding more channel support to this would make it a killer app (YouTube, anyone?). I recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy the internet without going through pages and pages of junk.
